Scope and operator
Capsulepoint ("we") explains how information is handled by the ReelEmu iOS app. This policy covers its currently available recording, editing and export features.
Media and editing data
Photos, videos, audio, edits and FILM settings are processed and stored on your device. The app does not automatically upload them to our servers or send them to external AI services. Metadata such as recording dates is used to organize, display and edit media. Image analysis, where used, runs on the device.
Device permissions
Camera access is used for capture, microphone access for video audio, and Photos access for importing, restoring and saving media. The app requests OS permission when needed. You can change or revoke access in iOS Settings. Features requiring a denied permission may be unavailable. The app does not request location permission.
Storage, backups and sharing
Clips, editing projects, preferences, temporary files and diagnostics are stored on your device. Depending on device settings, app data may be included in iCloud or computer backups. Media saved to Photos may be synced by Apple when iCloud Photos is enabled. You choose where to export or share. The destination receives the media and any metadata contained in the file; its own terms apply.
Advertising, analytics and accounts
The current version does not use account registration, advertising SDKs, behavioral analytics SDKs or tracking across other companies’ apps or websites. It does not currently provide in-app purchases or community posting. Local diagnostics are not automatically sent to us. Purchase or diagnostic information handled by Apple through the OS or App Store is governed by Apple’s settings and privacy policy.
Support and external pages
When you contact support, we receive your email address and the messages or attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond, investigate problems, handle disputes and comply with law, and retain them only as long as needed for those purposes. Please do not send secrets or unnecessary media. Email providers deliver and store support messages. When you open an external page, hosting providers may process connection information such as your IP address. Providers may process information in other countries. We do not sell this information or disclose it except for these purposes or as legally required.
Deletion and privacy choices
You can delete unwanted media in the app. Deleting the app removes its private data from the device, but copies in Photos, shared destinations, exported files and existing backups must be managed separately. Offloading the app preserves data and is different from deleting it. Manage backups using Apple’s or the destination’s controls. Contact the email below to request access, correction or deletion of support information we control; we respond as required by applicable law. We cannot remotely view or delete media on your device.
Security and children’s information
We use reasonable safeguards for support information we receive, but cannot guarantee absolute security of transmission or storage. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian may contact us to request deletion of information sent in error.
Changes and contact
If our practices change, we update this policy and applicable store disclosures. Material changes will be communicated in the app or on this page, with consent requested where legally required. Contact: Capsulepoint / [email protected]
